And, just like the last 2 years, he was less than thrilled. We have yet to have tears, but he just seems, well, confused. Which is surprising because this year he is really, really into Santa. Like everything he sees he says he wants Santa to bring. And every picture of Santa he sees he gets all excited about.

Aw! He is so adorable!
cute! Andrea, the way we managed Santa was by renting an expensive Santa suit for my dad...he showed up at the house (we had invited Alex's friends over) and he knew all of the kids names, and hung out and read them stories...it was very sweet. However, by year two, Alex was totally on to him ("why are you wearing my Grandpa's watch", before he even got in the front door).
Happy Thanksgiving.
I realized today that Santa has not aged at all since I sat on his lap. He must work out a lot and eat well.
