Six years ago today we met, at a wedding in Pittsburgh.
Four years ago tomorrow we got married, at a Church in Atlanta.
Today we spent the day iced in, potty training our thisclose to being 3 year old.
I wouldn't change any of it for the world.

We told Finn the story of how we met tonight at dinner. He asked where he was, and while we stumbled over an answer he told us he thought he was probably flying there on a horse. That answer sounds about as good as any we could have given.
I told him that the day after I met his dad, the 13th of January, our future wedding date, I called my mom and told her I was smitten. She told me not to have a fling. I think we did pretty good avoiding that. He thought that was hilariously funny, without having any idea what smitten or fling meant.
Truth be told, I was smitten. I hadn't been smitten before, and didn't think I would ever be as much again. I was wrong.
Happy Anniversary Lee, I hope you don't mind sharing my smitten-ness with the other guy in our family.

So funny + sweet! Happy Anniversary - so many adventures behind you and many more to come!
How sweet! Happy anniversary!
happy anniversary!
Happy Anniversary! I remember you telling me all about how smitten you were....I think it was while you were trying to climb a ladder to see what I definitely thought was going to be a "fling" for me (who I ironically ended up being smitten with as well)
Oh, those days....couldn't be any happier for you if I tried.
xoox
PS - I just went back and re-read all your post you linked to. Because I do that. And now I am crying at work. So beautiful. It seems like only yesterday...my how time flies. I'm glad I've been able to watch your beautiful relationship and family unfold. Hope to see you all soon.
xoxo
Happy Anniversary to both of you!
Love,
Dad
Happy Anniversary! Great first pic of you two.
Happy Anniversary to y'all! Hope you enjoyed it inspite of the cold weather.
Dear Andrea,
as a fellow ex-expat I find your blog interesting.
I am a third year Graphic Designer and third year degree student based in Bristol, UK. I have spent some years travelling and living abroad in USA, Australia, Asia and Canada and so decided to focus my final self-directed design work on ‘Expats and Living Abroad’.
I am currently inviting expats to participate in my project by answering a short online questionnaire on my blog: www.samanthabarber.com/expats. The results of the survey as well as interviews which I plan to carry out with expats will form the basis for my study over the next 6 months. Interested parties can sign up to receive updates on the project and can even be part of a review panel for design solutions I propose.
If you would like to take part or think this may be of interest to your readers I would be grateful if you could add it to your website or suggest where I could post an entry about it.
Best regards
Sam Barber
