Well. While I could give a myriad of excuses as to why I have been slacking on blogging the truth is that I am not sure anyone is actually reading anymore, save my parents (Hi dad! Hi mom!) and it would be as useful as talking to a wall. It is even more ironic because they actually see us in person all the time and, well, these updates are probably moot.
But, despite a feeling that perhaps the best of my blogging days are behind me (and yes, the BEST of my blogging days are definitely behind me, but I just mean my blogging days in general may be reaching an end) I just can't quite step away. It is a little bit like my decision to stop drinking soda and only drink water. I do really well for a while and then it sucks me back in.
I realize my life is, well, boring for most these days. Who really wants to read about preschool and diapers and food issues with now both my kids and playgroups and blah blah. My life used to be exciting, with travel and wit and adventure and now? My life is still pretty exciting to me, but I can see how that excitement doesn't translate well to anyone else.
Hey, guess what? It is 7:15 on a Sunday morning and so far I have been woken up before the sun by the littlest red head in the family and changed Finn's wet sheets and gone through some bills and wiped some snot.
Hm. Maybe it isn't even that exciting to me.
So, I am going to change that. I am going to try to blog about more than my family, my kids. I am going to catch up with the weekly photos, and maybe put my brain back to use again, to remember when I enjoyed writing in this space, when I didn't dread having to upload pictures and figure out what words to write. It has been a while.
In the meantime, weeks 31, 32 and 33 with Lila. They won't be long. I have a Build-a-Bear party to get ready for.
(baby steps people. baby steps)

Week 31
 |
| Here we go again. One Lila. One Pink Bear. Separate yet together. |
 |
| Okay Pink Bear, let's be friends this week, I will share my toys okay? |
Week 32
 |
| Hey mama? I don't know where Pink Bear is this week! I may, or may not, have turned into a Pink Bear like creature myself, but let's ignore that okay? Instead just show how my brother and I now play together! |
 |
| Er, maybe play isn't the right word. Mama, why does he always grab me and move me away from whatever I am playing with? |
 |
Do you like my shirt? You said it was old mama, that it was yours. I like to call it vintage.
|
Week 33
 |
| Hahaha, mama you make me laugh! What do you mean that Pink Bear is back? |
 |
| No seriously, you are funny, I thought we were done with those pictures! |
 |
| Stop. No really. Stop. |
 |
| Oh.My.God. It really is back! |
 |
| Pink Bear looks the same. Do you think it is the same? |
 |
| Same bow. Same pinkness. |
 |
| Holy cow mama, how did this happen? |
 |
| Look! Look! Pink Bear is back! |
 |
| What? I had to give her a taste didn't I? |
 |
| I am just double checking it is the same Pink Bear and not an intruder! |
 |
| Okay Pink Bear. I welcome you back. For now. |

I think your blog is great! Been following since you were in London, when we were living in Germany.
Now back in Wales after 8 years abroad, so we are both back home where we belong.
Keep going!!! ;-)
oh, i love your blog (and relate to the mundane life) and will be sad if you quit. i think the pink bear photos and captions are hilarious and someday your kids will love reading about themselves!
Hi We still read it. Nonna and G-Dad live for it.
Your writing is fab- keep perservering- all updates are good updates including the most mundane.
Keep your chin up
Love Claire

Sorry if this is posted twice, but please don't stop blogging. I really enjoy your blog and I can relate to so many of the challenges and small victories you face each day since my kiddos are roughly the same age. Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Hey Andrea, Your blog is the way I can live the mom with young 'uns life vicariously, while mine fly away as young adults. Plus, it's how I keep track of your dad. No pressure or anything! But I love checking in on you and your beautiful family.
Keep blogging, please! I love what you write - even if it feels mundane to you, it's lovely to read about the adventures of your family. Woo!
Well. While I could give a myriad of excuses as to why I have been slacking on reading your blog the truth is that I am not sure if you are still writing it. Wait, that was what you said. Great photos os Ms. Lila.
I still check in regularly, sissy. Although not like I used to. I'm in the same blogging boat. STill love it - but not sure how exciting it is to anyone but me.
Hope you continue when you feel like it. You are the one who inspired me after all.
